Competitive Adulations

No matter how many times I try to tell it differently, my Droid thinks, "Congrats" should be "Contests".

This morning's post to my cousin's wall could have read much differently, if I hadn't caught it.

"Contests on making the front page of today's paper" has a much different meaning than, "Congrats on making the front page".

I guess my Droid has a competitive streak.

Lamont?

I don't know anyone named Lamont, but "Droid does".

"No amount of bacon" became, "No Lamont of Bacon."

Now that I think about it, though, isn't "Lamont" French for "The Mountain "? A mountain of bacon...cool idea, Droid.

If only Ben knew...

I was trying to comment on my friend's Facebook photos from my phone's mobile browser. My comment was supposed to read, "You should invest in Ben and Jerry's."

My phone said, "You should invest in Benefits and Jerry's." I kinda like my phone's version of this brand name.
